As mentoined above there confusing, i am saying that the nicknames should be moved to the part where it has the final four. To add on: why do you feel the nicknames are not relevant? (I'm not looking to argue I'd just like to know your reason, if you don't mind.) ADifferentMind ( talk) 19:04, 6 August 2009 (UTC)ADifferentMind Reply I had requested semi-protection this morning full protection was given this afternoon, for a period of three days. Scratch that idea, after viewing the recent history, i requested for this page to be protected. How you just create a section on the main Wipeout page labeled "contestants" with a list of contestants in it? That way everybody wins? TCK| chat 18:14, 6 August 2009 (UTC) Reply Remove - I think these nicknames should be removed, they're hardly relevant and edit wars never end well.ADifferentMind ( talk) 17:51, 6 August 2009 (UTC)ADifferentMind Reply To whoever reinstated the rest of the nicknames - thank you. The "others", as you say, number two (if you're not Captaincharisma98 if you are (and I suspect you are, although I could be wrong), then it's one). The vote was put here for a reason, and the majority says keep. * Yeah Exactly, but there is alot of errors on the page take a look at it for yourself. Exactly what do you mean? Take the nicknames off here, and put them in on the other article? Although I voted keep on both, I think that leaving them on here and taking them off there (where they are not right now) is the better compromise. How about you put the nicknames on the part on the Episode Results, so just leave the Guide alone, to satisfy both sides, because it's not fair for others? - 98.194.251.45 ( talk) 16:17, 6 August 2009 (UTC) Reply. ADifferentMind ( talk) 15:57, 6 August 2009 (UTC)ADifferentMind Reply I'll continue to restore the nicknames throughout the day. However, since someone continues to remove them without signing in, I've asked for semi-protection for this page. At this point, the votes for keep outnumber the votes for remove.PrimeHunter ( talk) 23:45, 29 July 2009 (UTC) Reply The nicknames are useful for readers looking for an episode they have seen or heard about. Most viewers probably remember the nicknames much better than the real names. The nicknames are used often by the hosts. Keep Contestants are non-notable people only publicly known for this show.Millahnna ( talk) 15:46, 29 July 2009 (UTC) Reply Additionally, they seem to have been removed at the discretion of one editor who states personal opinion as though it were general fact. Honestly, I find the times on each round to be more extraneous than the nicknames. Any episode guide for this show is absolutely useless to me without them. Keep They are very helpful for isolating the episode you are looking for information on.ADifferentMind ( talk) 04:14, 28 July 2009 (UTC)ADifferentMind Reply I will ask for this page to be semi-protected if this keeps happening. There's been one remove and one keep, that's it that's no agreement. Someone's obviously put a lot of effort into getting the correct nicknames, so let's not take them out (and potentially lose them and have to redo the whole thing) unless there is a clear majority or agreement. They were here before, so they can remain here until we've decided. There has been no agreement, so please stop taking out the nicknames until some sort of decision has been reached.ADifferentMind ( talk) 22:25, 26 July 2009 (UTC)ADifferentMind Reply Keep The nicknames are the way the participants are referred to throughout much of the show.Captaincharisma98 ( talk) 20:17, 26 July 2009 (UTC)Captaincharisma98 Reply Remove - The nicknames are way too confusing and take up space.I Don't Know - Enter Response why you voted this.Remove - Enter Response why you voted this.Keep - Enter response why you voted this.If you want to keep the nicknames do this
